War Eagle Anyway!!!!!

I have really been busy studying for my final and writing this seemingly endless research paper, so I haven't been able to blog much. However, I must let this out before I explode. First let me start with congrats to the Alabama fans and their team's blow out win this past Saturday. Now let me address a different caliber of people entirely, "fair weather fans." not just Auburn but also the ones for Alabama. "Alabama?" you question. Yes Alabama too. I know that Alabama has lots of fans and this year they (being the media) were talking about all the numbers of people flocking to the stadium in "record numbers". Well here's a little ice for your tea, all those fans, guess what? When Alabama loses again where are they going to be? The same place all the "fair weather" Auburn fans are going now....THE OTHER SIDE. One year at the License Office this man brought in his Alabama tag and traded it for an Auburn tag. That same man is probably back at the License Office for a new tag. I think when you know if you are a fan or not is when your team is still losing and you are still cheering for them. That's a fan. When your team does something stupid like fire your head coach when he only had one bad season and you are still cheering for your team, then call yourself a fan. When your team doesn't want a HOF QB to come back and makes one of the dumbest calls in history and you still cheer for your team, then you are a fan. Although we have let in some Jets love we still cheer for the Packers. I was a little reluctant at first claiming that I only said I was a Brett Favre fan but I support my husband's team like a good wife. :) But when you are flip flopping every time your team loses you need to understand that you have a sore losing problem more specific a pride problem. So I end with this, even though my Auburn Tigers got beat by Alabama to a pulp, even though our offense looked like a high school team, our defense, like water, even though Auburn just fired Tommy (for the record I think that is a mistake, but I hope I am wrong), I say "WAR EAGLE ANYWAY"!!!!!

And let me just give this piece of advise for all (Auburn and Alabama alike)fans wanting to boast and brag about a win, in the words of my father "Be careful what you say because a loss is just around the corner."
